PROGRAM SERVICES FUND

Helping Hands Housing Services offers great Sponsorship opportunities. HHHS provides free services all designed to uplift the quality of life for our residents toward a goal of greater self-sufficiency. These services cost money to provide. Our generous Sponsors help us greatly in defraying the cost to provide these services with include the following:


• Family Rental Assistance Program

• Adult Education (ESL, GED, and related Support Services)

• Tutoring, 1st -- 12th Grades

• After School Program

• Food services

• Furniture and Clothing Donations

• Transportation Resource

• Life Skills Training

• XMAS “Adopt-A-Family” Program Gifts for Kids and Family

• Referral Services

• Monthly Community Activities

All of the Programs listed above without cost to our families but of course do have a cost to the organization. In an effort to engage the community, we have developed our designated (restricted) Program Services Fund. We seek donation from individuals, businesses, foundations, churches and synagogues, with 100% of all funding going directly to serve our families with nothing taken out for organization general and administrative expenses. Here’s how the Program works.

THE PROGRAM

  • Sponsors agree to fund a given dollar value & term to the Program.
  • Assistance “units” cost is set at $200 per month ($2,400 per annum).
  • Funds are deposited in a restricted and dedicated account.
  • Sponsors may select from a monthly ($200) donation, a quarterly ($600) donation, a semi-annual ($1,200) donation, or an annual ($2,400) donation.
  • Helping Hands will invoice as directed.

This is a Program that works! Our families aren’t looking for a “hand-out”, but moreover, a hand-up. Through our work, and in particular, your generosity, we’re able to serve hard working folks (and especially the children) that simply want a chance at a better life.
